There is no official design review here at Advance Studios. Therefore, the output vision differs depending on the drawing level of the designer himself.

Of course, it also depends on the level of demand from the TMC, but if the designer wants to pursue more, there is an environment here that responds to them.

It’s a different part from the development of the TMC, which establishes a certain framework. However, if I want to raise the level of pursuit, I must persuade, schedule and plan.

In that sense, it’s essential to improve not only design skills but also management ability, and it’s a very good opportunity to grow into a multi-talented person when considering future career development. And the joy of being rewarded for their hard work is great.

Compact cruiser is a good example. Not only the EXT, but also the CMF and INT, Digital to physical team, the entire team was able to meet the high requirements.
The result is the award of the 2022 Auto & Design concept car category.

ED² is a place where I can grow in all aspects.

チームを牽引する力

ここアドバンススタジオには公式のデザイン審査は存在しない。故に、アウトプットのビジョンは、デザイナー自身の描くレベルにより異なる。当然、本社の要求レベルによっても左右されるが、デザイナーがもっと追求したければ、それに応えてくれる環境がここにはある。

それはある一定の枠組みを設ける本社の開発とは異なる部分でもある。

しかしながら、追求レベルを上げたければ、自身で周囲のメンバーを説得し、スケジュールや段取り計画をしなければならない。そういった意味でも、デザインスキルだけでなく、マネージメント能力の向上が不可欠と言え、今後のキャリア形成を考える上で、マルチな人材に成長する非常に良い機会と言える。

そして、その頑張りが報われることの喜びは大きい。

コンパクトクルーザーが良い例だ。外形だけではなく、CMFや内装、フィジカルチームにデジタルチーム、高い要求レベルにチーム全体で応えることができた結果が、2022Auto＆Designコンセプトカー部門アワードの受賞に繋がっている。

ここED²は、あらゆる側面で成長させてくれたかけがえのない場所になった。
